Anniversary of Changes

2013 will mark a few important anniversaries in the changing face of Birmingham.  The Bullring will celebrate the tenth anniversary of it's opening while Brindleyplace celebrates the twentieth anniversary of work commencing on the building project in September 1993, http://www.brindleyplace.com/wp-content/uploads/The-History-of-Brindleyplace.pdf

Both projects represented significant milestones in Birmingham's urban regeneration and their aesthetic appeal has helped crack some of the concrete reputation Birmingham has suffered from.  2013 will also see the first half of the New Street Station redevelopment project reach completion with the opening of half of the redeveloped concourse while work takes place on the other half.  Following these earlier significant projects for the city, the station will help to change perceptions and makes 2013 a year to reflect on past successful projects, current developments and setting our sights on the future regeneration of both the city core but the wider city and it's neighbourhoods.

The following pictures show Brindleyplace on 15 December and show the impact the development has played on showing the city nationally and internationally.  Happy Anniversary.
