What a hoot! - The Birmingham parliament

In March I noted that a Birmingham Parliament was being assembled with Wild in Art bringing nearly 100 owls to Birmingham, http://birminghamcentral.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/the-birmingham-parliament.html.  The parliament is now here with owls assembled across the city for ten weeks until the 27 September 2015.

There are 89 fibreglass owl sculptures spread across the city with owls sponsored by companies and organisations.

When the owls have flown they will be sold off at an auction which will be raising funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Louise McCathie from the Birmingham Children's Hospital told ITV News Central:

"It's been a fantastic opportunity for artists locally and over the country to just get involved so it's a mass participation event and it's free."
http://www.itv.com/news/central/2015-07-19/big-hoot-owls-move-into-birmingham-overnight/

The owls are a fabulous draw to the city both raising attention and funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital but inviting visitors and residents alike to explore the city.  The artists have produced stunning individual owls but collectively as a parliament a display Birmingham can be proud to show the world.

The following photos are some of the owls i've visited so far.

There is a trail to follow, reproduced below from: http://thebighoot.co.uk/trail/, which you can download as a pdf version.

The following is a list of the owls, reproduced from http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/big-hoot-can-see-owls-9691964, showing their name, the artist, sponsor and where they are located.
