Paradise Rising - Update IV

Over a year ago I wrote about the progress on the redevelopment of Paradise Circus and since then the transformation has been amazing as One Chamberlain Square starts to fill the space where the former Birmingham Central Library stood.

The photo below shows a model of One and Two Chamberlain Square.

While One Chamberlain Square rises the foundation work for Two Chamberlain Square is now adding to the frenzy of development across the city particularly with nearby work at Arena Central.  It needs to be all go with One Chamberlain Square expected to be complete in 2018 along with the refurbish Chamberlain Square ahead of Two Chamberlain Square which will complete in 2019.

With work underway the plans for the next stage, One Centenary Way, will be shown to the public on the 5th September online and at a public exhibition, http://www.paradisebirmingham.co.uk/2017/08/public-exhibition-to-show-detailed-proposals-for-latest-building/.  The plans will be shown on the 7th Floor of 77 Paradise Circus, opposite the entrance to the Copthorne Hotel, between 8am and 8pm on Tuesday 5 September.
