Circles frieze the Library of Birmingham
Since my previous photos of the construction of the new Library of Birmingham on the 22nd August, Library of Birmingham August Update III, rapid progress has been made on installing the metal frieze on the library and installing more glazing. Each metal frieze is made up of 5.4m diameter black rings with silver circles of 1.8m diameter attached.
The photos below from the 26th August show the installation of more glazing on the rear of the library and more foundation works on the extension of the rear of the REP.
