The city's attraction has recently been highlighted to UK audiences with an influential New York travel magazine extolling it's virtues, http://nymag.com/travel/2013/winter/birmingham-england/, against those who've ignored it. The article has certainly aroused interest and following on the footsteps of BBC drama Peaky Blinders the city's never had a better chance to shine and shake off the misconceptions of it's earlier industrial past,
