More details on the Library of Birmingham have been revealed in a planning application giving more insight into the new library with images of the floor plans viewable, Library bookmarks planning application.
The floor plans are reproduced below and should allow for comments to be made on the planning application and to consider the concerns raised on the Stirrer that the "PUBLIC IGNORED" OVER NEW PUBLIC LIBRARY by Alan Clawley, Secretary of the Friends of the Central Library over the openness of the application together with being able to objectively compare the proposed floor space to what already exists in the current Central Library.
