Checking out soon - Morrisons Edgbaston readies for opening
It's less than ten days to go, if a rumoured opening date of the 22 October is true, for the opening of the new Morrisons Edgbaston at Five Ways. Work to complete the store has progressed rapidly since my previous post, Morrisons Five Ways August Update, with the work to the streetscape on both the Hagley and Harborne Road's completed and some of the five retail units adjoining the store and car park fitted out.
Regular passers-by will have seen the retail units fronting the Hagley Road being fitted out . A Morrisons Dry Cleaning and Flower Shop now occupy two units ready for opening with three remaining units awaiting tenants. Meanwhile the car park has been completed and is being used for staff training ahead of the store opening.
