Festive German's are back

Thursday 13th November sees the return of the Frankfurt German Market, it's eight appearance in Birmingham. The market, the largest outside of Germany and Austria is staged in Victoria Square and runs until Tuesday 23rd December. The market is expected to attract two million visitors to the stalls selling handmade toys, jeweller, clothing, decorations as well as German food such as sausages, pretzels, German mulled wine and stollen.

A helter-skelter and carousel are being laid on to keep children entertained, and live music and carols will be performed every lunchtime and evening from a bandstand in Victoria Square.

Other events will be held on Saturday, December 6, to mark St Nikolaus Day, the highlight of Advent in Germany.

The Frankfurt market is open between 10am and 9pm.
