Birmingham Based National Debtline providing help to credit crunch victims
The Times has reported on the work of the Birmingham based National Debtline, run by the Money Advice Trust charity and it's work supporting debt queries; Deep in debt? Desperate? Call in the voice of calm.
The debtline is run from the 8th floor of a city centre office tower block and has recently received an additional £5.85 million funding over two years which should help them deal with an extra 60,000 people having dealt with 115,000 people in 2008 alone.
The debtline number is 0808 808 4000, open from Monday to Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday 9.30am-1pm.
