Station closes on towards progress

The 1st August saw the closure of Queens Drive as the redevelopment of New Street Station gathers pace with the continuing demolition of Stephenson Tower to create the new John Lewis store and the preparation for the installation of steel cladding on Stephenson Street.

Queens Drive prior to it's closure from the 31st July


The part closure of Stephenson Street, Station to reflect changes as tower falls, will allow preparation work for the fixing of the steel panels.
