Ready to jump in - University of Birmingham Sports Centre update

On the 27 November 2014 I provided an update on the University of Birmingham's campus redevelopments and the construction of the new sports centre.

The progress on the new £55m sports centre will have been hard to miss, particularly with it's beautiful copper and brick design facing the A38 Bristol Road.

In April it was announced the gym would be named after former alumna and four-time World Ironman Champion Chrissie Wellington, http://www.sport.bham.ac.uk/news.aspx?itemid=5715&itemTitle=Name+of+the+Gym+in+360+Sport+%26+Fitness+Announced+&sitesectionid=32&sitesectiontitle=Latest+News&returnlink=news.aspx%3fsitesectionid%3d32%26sitesectiontitle%3dLatest%2bNews

The following photos from the 27 June show the building nearing completion ahead of it's Autumn 2016 planned opening.
