Selfridges bucks gloomy High Street

Retail Week has reported Selfridges stops Sale early as trade rockets with the news that Selfridges has wrapped up it's sale two weeks ahead of schedule with it's sale ahead of the same time last year.

Birmingham's Selfridges continues to do well with Retail Week reporting it has had double digit growth since opening in 2003.

He declined to comment on the performance of the Sales at its regional stores, but said the Birmingham store had enjoyed double-digit growth since opening in 2003. Selfridges is staging month-long events at its Manchester Trafford Centre and Birmingham Bullring branches to mark their 10th and fifth anniversaries respectively.
