New Street Station February Update
Following my previous update on the redevelopment of New Street Station of 21 January, New Street Station - January 2013 Update C, here is an update on work from the 2 February 2013. The extension of steel cladding alongside Stephenson Street has now almost reached the curved eye entrance while work continues to prepare the new public square fronting the station. Work is also rapidly progressing on the construction of the framework for the new John Lewis store as shown in the pictures below.

While physical transformation is taking place plans for the new Grand Central shopping centre, replacing the Pallasades shopping centre, have been released on a new website providing information for the public and detailing the new units and development for potential retailers.
