College approval starts rebirth of Longbridge
Regen.net reports that Bournville College scheme gets green light following the announcement that Birmingham City Council planners have given their approval to the scheme.
The scheme, Bournville College to sweeten Longbridge, is a joint project by developer St Modwen and regional development agency Advantage West Midlands bringing the college's three seperate campuses into one 23,000 sq metre site.
Regen.net reports that St Modwen expects construction to start this summer subject to detailed approval and funding from the Learning and Skills Council with the college expected to open for the September 2011 academic year.
