Another Park for Eastside

Property Week reported on the 5th June that Curzon Park, the development proposal by Development Securities and Grainger has gained Outline Planning Approval, Dev Secs and Grainger win Birmingham consent.

The plans for the £400m scheme include 1.4m sq ft of office, residental, hotel and leisure development on a 10.5 acre site with work expected to start later this year.

The scheme supports other Eastside schemes which are revitalising the 420 acre Eastside site east of the city centre, between the Bullring and Lawley Middleway and from Dartmouth Circus in the north to Bordesley Circus in the south, including Birmingham City University's new campus development and a new city park.

Eastside Locks, a scheme developing land between Millennium Point and Lawley Middleway has recently been submitted for the planning process. A map of the site of the Eastside Locks scheme is shown below.
