Snowhill September Update
Here is an update on the construction of the Two Snowhill office block from the 10th September.
While work rapidly progresses on the second office block, owners Hines have requested SnowHill developers Ballymore either clear or advance the development of the third phase which was to originally be made up of 332 residential units, 600,000 sq ft of offices and a 200-room five-star hotel in two towers. Hines want the site to be either cleared or progressed by 2013 when Two SnowHill will be open to prevent the current site being an eyesore for occupiers.

Ballymore is working up a revised planning application for up to 300,000 sq ft of offices, which will form the third phase of its Snowhill scheme in Birmingham city centre. The revision was prompted by an informal agreement struck between Ballymore and Hines in April, when the latter agreed to buy and fund the development of the second phase of Snowhill. http://www.propertyweek.com/news/hines-presses-ballymore-to-progress-snowhill-site/5024191.article
