NIA redevelopment seeks permission

A planning application, 2012/04742/PA has been submitted for the £20 million redevelopment of the NIA with some 97% of the 200 respondents who gave feedback at a public exhibition saying the plans will make a positive difference to the area of the city the NIA sits in,

The plans were first announced in October 2011, £20 million NIA refurbishment, and will see  the creation of a multi-level circulation space with glazed vista and connective approach onto the canal together with a series of spires or sky needles to provide a focal point for the NIA in the structure of the city.
