Selly Oak New Road student flats

In my look at the end of 2012 into 2013 I noted the student block under construction in Selly Oak on the Selly Oak New Road.  The £13.25m development, planning application 2011/06459/PA, comprises 437 bed spaces in a building rising from 4 to 9 storeys tall, http://www.thebusinessdesk.com/westm...ts-scheme.html.  The site is constrained by the new road, the Bournbrook and the railway and canal viaduct.

Work is rapidly progressing with the steel structure completed.  The following pictures show the site from 22 December 2012.
