Ramparts reveal University Hospital Plaza and transport interchange

In my post looking from the end of 2012 into 2013 in Birmingham, Busting a Boom? A look towards 2013 in Birmingham, I noted the completion of the University Hospital Plaza and Transport Interchange.  This plaza, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Plaza and Transport Interchange, provides a new focus for pedestrians and rail and bus users to reach the hospital and emphasises the site of the Metchley Roman fort on which the plaza sits.

The photos below were taken on the 22 December 2012 and show the plaza and information boards showing the roman history of the site.
