Heathrow Hub Proposed
Contract Journal, New rail hub proposed for Heathrow, and Property Week, Heathrow rail hub plan, report on Arup's Civil Engineering plan for a new hub station for Heathrow opening up high speed connections to Europe and providing connections to the west, south-west, Wales and the Midlands.

The station would open up Heathrow to travellers from Oxford, Birmingham and Wales together with a prospective extension to reduce travelling times between Manchester and Leeds to Heathrow.
Construction of the station would include 12 platforms built between the existing West Drayton and Iver stations and a twin 24km high-speed track built in tunnels to join the existing high speed line above King’s Cross-St Pancras.
