Mobile Boost for Birmingham

Birmingham is amongst six cities which are to benefit from Vodafone's extension of it's high speed mobile broadband network. Currently top-end broadband speed is only available at major airports and parts of London.

Mobile Today reports, Vodafone to grow high speed mobile broadband network, that the roll out is expected by Autumn this year. Other cities to benefit alongside Birmingham include Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Reading.

The operator also plans to include more point of sale information on how long it takes to perform tasks, by providing examples of the estimated time to download films, documents and pictures.
