Avoiding the jam

Computing.co.uk as well as other news sites have revealed the Highways Agency's link up with Google to provide real time traffic information for travellers, Highways Agency feeds traffic data to Google Maps.

Data will be provided from the Highways Agency's national traffic control centre in Birmingham which will allow users to see the average speeds on England's motorways and A road with different colours representing the current speed of traffic.
