New Street Station February update II
Here are some photos of works ongoing since my previous update, New Street Station February update.
Work at platform level in the area where the east void will be filled in.
Work on the deconstruction of Stephenson Tower
Work on platform 12 taking place following the completion of platform 1.
The ramp to the service subway on Platforms 10/11. The service subway ramps will be filled in to create the base for the escalators to the new concourse although escalators won't be installed until closer to the opening of the new concourse in 2012. The service tunnel will remain for staff with lifts serving it; New Street New Year - work set to steel approval.
